iNetwork Test Native Edition Application FAQI have purchased the App on my computer using iTunes, and am getting an error when I try to sync, what can I do? Install the application directly on the iPhone using the App Store. You will not be charged again if you previously purchased the product on the same iTunes account. The app is locking up on the Geolocation step, what gives? We have had some reports of this behavior. If you try to do location in the Maps app, it also will not be working. Restarting the iPhone fixes this problem. Why does my 3G iPhone record the test as EDGE Network and show EDGE on the start page of the App? When the application was built and submitted, we did not have a 3G iPhone. The results screen is displaying twice BUG. Why does the web edition report a much higher speed? In our development, we missed one key item, the unit of our test! The native app (version 1.0.1 and down) reports in KiloBytes, not KiloBits like the web app. Versions 1.0.2 and up will report all results in kilobits. iNetwork Test Web Edition FAQWhy does my test result appear on a Map in the middle of nowhere? The web version of the app uses the IP address of the device to determine location. Cellular ip addresses geolocate to a variety of sites, many nowhere near the test has been taken. |
